Balancing Act

Well lately I've been trying to do a lot of things which of course doesn't include finding my own happiness. Lately I've been having to juggle work, babysitting my lil bro and cousin, helping pay the bills, and trying to maintain somewhat of a social life even though I'm seriously failing in that aspect. I really do try to talk to my friends, but well lately it seems the only people I really talk to are the ones I work with. That isn't too bad of course, but I do need to pay attention to my other friends outside of work.

I've also been trying to write some new poems and at the same time work on new songs on my PSP game, Beaterator, since I decided to pick it up once again if I can't write a poem. Other than that, my birthday passed on the 15th and this year was really quiet compared to last year. Of course I had people give me birthday wishes and all, but for the most part I spent it at home relaxing watching movies or lazing around. My mom took me out to dinner that night and she surprised me with a PS Vita along with Uncharted: Golden Abyss which was really awesome. Then on Father's Day, my dad surprised me with a laptop. I think this year my parents outdid themselves when it came to giving me birthday gifts.

Well, that's all that has been going on with me. I hope to get some new poems up or work on some new songs since I've been feeling really creative lately.
