People bring me down only because I'm a guy who loves men.
Always trying to change me, trying to make me into someone I'm not.
Force me to sit down, open my eyes, and stare at the t.v. screen.
Women bouncing around in bikinis, eating a banana so sexually.
I'm sorry to say, but that sort of thing doesn't turn me on.
I know who I am, so I'll break free from their bonds.

'Cause I'm a homosexual and damn proud to be one.
I'm not your stereotypical one, I fight with an iron fist.
Don't go around fallin' to my knees, waiting to give pleasure.
I'm travelin' 'round the globe trying to shed new light on our kind.

Every day it's a new type of hate that I face.
Bibles being thrown at me, saying my kind shouldn't exist.
But if God created us to be the way we are, then it was his intent.
'Cause you claim in the Bible that God hates fags, but you forget:
He's the one that passes judgment to Heaven, not you.

Yeah I'm a homosexual and damn proud to be one.
I make my stand with my new found voice I've gained.
I'll slowly show the world that not every gay is the same.
I'll travel around the globe with my wings spread out wide.
'Cause I'm the angel of light even when darkness rules my heart.

People keep on trying to bring me to tears with different names.
Ranging from Queer to Faggot, they don't phase me.
I've faced so much homophobia that no longer am I scared.
With a serious look on my face, I strike fear into their hearts.

I'm the strong kind, not the weak one that hides and pretends to be someone else.
I fight with an army coming from the rear, not with a purse in hand.
I'll change the world on the view of us one step at a time.

People keep on asking would I switch genders to fit into the norm.
I'll still remain the guy who loves men, I'm not that easily tempted.
'Cause it's time for a change, need to open our eyes to the truth:
Kids being disowned by their parents 'cause they're gay.
Another man beaten to death 'cause he loves men.
Society wanting to stop gay marriages 'cause love is suppose to be
between a man and a woman.
Love is a definition not defined.

Another threat from a random guy I don't know.
I won't hide and run for in fear, I'll stand up tall.
'Cause I'm strong, this I know for a fact.
Make him run with his tail between his legs.
Show him that I don't take bullshit from anyone.
